Social Scientists: Archaeologists

If I had a choice of being a social scientist I would choose to be an Archaeologist. I would choose to be an archaeologist because I like the idea of digging and finding treasures of the past. It sounds like a treasure hunt kids sometimes play except it's real and very dangerous. Once find the treasure you examine it and if it's precious you could be famous for your find! Also I just think the adventure would cool.
Digging and finding treasures of the past sounds pretty cool to me. Going all over the world, getting clues and using them to find things of the past is a type of thing I like. I don't like digging, but I do like finding. So if I do become an archaeologist I try do get a personal digger. What I also like about digging and finding if getting my hands dirty while doing it. I like getting my hands dirty very much. Getting all muddy and sandy. I hope we get to swim sometime through the search, because I love swimming!

I like to examine things and try to find out what it is. It's quite exciting and interesting, for me at least. Most of the times you get to learn about the early human, which is very good to know. This related to physics which one of my favorite subjects. I enjoy finding out how this happens, why it happens, etc.....? I would like to study physics, but there's too much math. I don't like the math scientists do, too much math.
But I'll just keep to archaeology.

The best part of being an archaeologist is the adventure that comes along with it. The jumping, running, diving, walking tiredly, swimming, and lots more! I don't like sitting down and watching other people doing amazing things. Archaeology is not just study, there's cleaning and preserving the find too, but finding is first, and finding is all the action, which is what I like.

Since I like swimming a lot, I'll become an Underwater Archaeologist, that is if I do become one!

Zarafsha

  Hello,
I am Zarafsha,
I am a girl who's form Bangladesh. I go to ISKL Middle School. I've been living in Kuala Lumpur for three years (since third grade). Before I moved to Malaysia I lived in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and before that I lived in Warsaw, Poland. I lived in Bangladesh for five years, and in Poland for four years. My horoscope is Scorpio, which logically means that I was born in November (eighth of November). I live somewhere in Damansara. I live in a house that is four stories, and has loads of rooms (never counted how many). My favorite subject is Hands on Science (so far at least), my least favorite subject is, well I don't have one yet. I really, really enjoy reading and I also like collecting bookmarks. I used have a cat called Sparky, but someone stole him, I miss him so much. One more thing, I'm a very bad artist.

The last three books I read was -
Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone- J.K Rowling
Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets- J.K Rowling
                    And
Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban- J.K Rowling
(I'm not a big Harry Potter fan though).

The last movie I watched was - Jurassic Park Three
It's a good movie for those who haven't watched it, the whole series is.

One academic goal for this year, is to do better at Math. I'm very bad at math, well I think so. I do hope I pass math, I find it's very important.

A social goal I have for this year, is try new things. I prefer to just keep to the things I know is good. Someone once asked me how I knew that pineapple isn't good (I've never eaten pineapple)? I replied, "It just doesn't look good." That person then said to me "Never judge a book by it's cover." I didn't know that meant back then but now I know, don't look at the looks look what it really is. So taking that advice I want to try out a lot of new things!

My most favorite holiday memory is in Singapore, Sentosa Island. It was the time got to pet dolphins! Their skin are very smooth and slippery. They are very friendly and sweet. I got to pet the pink baby dolphins. They were still grey because they were still babies, and pink dolphins turn pink in when they become an adult. But never less it a great vacation.

  If I were to describe myself with five adjectives I would say;
short-tempered, shy, determined,caring, enthusiastic.
